turn off chime?

i have pressed a wrong button on my keypad when the senser finds me the chime keeps going off. how can i turn the chime off. my alarm is scantronic 9427 style.

I did this and when I set alarm it still chimes when triggered… so what exactly does ‘chime off’ do?
I’m trying to prevent more trauma to my dog when there is a power cut!

your alarm is a 9448 scantronic with remote keypad 9427
button 7 enter followed by user code will turn off the chime function.
