Mend Beko HJA 8703 Washer Spinning Rinse

Faulty 18 month old HJA 8703 washer dryer?

My 18 months old HJA 8703 washer dryer - fitted by a kitchen company, does as it wants, not what I set it to. I think Beko make this machine. Clothes come out soggy, not spun properly and it won't spin, rinse or dry when I set those programmes on the dial. Is this normal? It is out of the 12 months guarantee but I don't think it should have failed so soon. I was quoted £129 for an engineer to come and look at the machine.

I'm having a problem when just trying to dry. The machine seems to wash the clothes first. I'm following all the instructions correctly but this machine seems to do what it wants? I just want to dry! Any ideas?

I also have problems when setting the program. It has a mind of its own.

sometimes the program starts, and sometimes the 15' min light comes on and it starts to rinse and empty out again.

Then I can get it to work after another 3-4 attempts. no logic to behaviour.

also making odd noises.

Howdens joiner provide engineers but I don't want to spend £120 on a fix which might just be down to a setting!! I have the manual but its not shedding any light, and I've tried all combinations in a very logical (and exasperating!!) way!

any help on this gratefully received.

I would NEVER have bought one of these, but I'm renting and am stuck with it!!

I am having the same problem with this model which is 3 years old. The machine seems to choose what program it wants regardless of the program i try to set sometimes it doesn't start washing at all and just gets stuck making sounds but no drum movement. Seems to work better selecting programs from the left hand side of dial. Any advise would be great.
