Mend Craftsman Power Electrical Plug

Craftsman Power Miter Saw won't run?

I was using my Craftsman sliding power compound miter saw and when I turned it on I heard a pop at the electrical plug site and now it will not turn on. The plug site is good. I have replaced the switch, but still doesn't work. Is there a fuse somewhere that I cannot seem to locate, or could it be something else?
