Mend Extractor Fan Working

Extractor Fan Shutter Not Working?

I have replaced a low voltage (12V) fan in the shower with a brand new similar model but with shutters. The fan works but the shutters do not open. The timer/transformer is outside the bathroom, about 5m away (max). I have checked the choc block wiring and it is ok. Any ideas much appreciated!
