Mend Goodmans LD2667D Sound Picture

Goodmans LD2667D?

TV has sound but no picture. Been told that it is probably the inverter. Have visited a spares website but it is out of stock. Looked at a Ferguson F2620LVD which looks as if uses the same inverter. Can you tell me if this the case.
