Mend Lazy Boy Remote Control Heating

lazy boy fridge repair?

I have a superb Lazy Boy chair with remote control massage, heating and fridge unit in the chair arm. The chair was a gift so i do not have any operating instructions. When attempting to switch on the fridge unit, it gets hot instead of cold. Is this something you could help me with please?
