Mend Maytag Performa Dryer Thermal Fuse

My matag performa dryer will not start. What part might I need?

My maytag performa dryer will not start. There is no sound when I hit the start button. Reading other responses, it sounds like it might be the thermal fuse. Where is this located? Any special instructions for replacing it?

Hello,

Use a putty knife to push in the two spring clips betwwen the front and top panels. Lift the top panel up and your thermal fuse should be in the rear of the dryer.
