Mend Hotpoint DWF 30 Dishwasher Fault

Is my Hotpoint Aquarius Dishwasher Dead forever?

I have a Hotpoint Aquarius Dishwasher DWF 30. Its just suddenly stopped working. There was some water left in the bottom which I have taken out, also I have cleaned the filter.
There is no sound coming from machine at all, but the programme lights, light up when pressed. Would it be cheaper to buy a new one?
Or would it be something that is easy to remedy?

Hi, I recently had this problem with my Hotpoint Aquarius DF30. Found it was a blockage in the pipes. Hubby took the drainage section apart (in the bottom of the machine), found a huge blockage, cleared it and now it works fine :)
