Mend Vauxhall Corsa Ecu Sensor Ignition

found a code in dash?

corsa 1.2 53reg i did a manual code check by pressing brake and gas pedal down together and put ignition on then car with spanner light on dash flashes a code to you by each flash break flash is a code i got 0340 which is cam senser so i replaced it but the code is still in ecu how do i erase it any one can help the funny thing was no engine light was on

Vauxhall Vauxhall Corsa Vehicles, Cars Ecu Sensor Ignition

Old codes are held in the cars memory. If the light is off when the engine is running then there are no current problems.
If you had used a proper diagnostic reader the code would have shown as "Not Present" and you would not have waste your time and money.
Old codes can be deleted using a proper diagnostic reader.
