Mend Renault Megane Scenic Repair

Wipers not parking correctly?

The wipers on my 1999 Megane Scenic have suddenly stopped parking flat and now rest in the upright position when not in use.motor is ok.What would be the most likely cause and repair?Any help is appreciated.
