Hi,
I had the same problem. The player gaved me E4 for any kind of cd's. After trying to insert 3 cd's it jamed them giving E3 all the time. It couldn't eject none of them and even not recognise only one from three.
To fix the problem I did the followings:
- I used a piece of bended metal wire to take out the cd player (you can use the original DIN tool for this)
- diconnect all the cables
- skrew out the two upper screws to take off the cover
- take out all the cd's. for this you have to pull up the upper stuff that holds the cd's and take out each cd, one by one, through the place where they were loaded.
- after you took out all the cd's you have to clean the cd player's laser led (it's easy). without putting the cover connect the wires back, insert a cd than push the eject button but don't take out the cd just a bit so you can see the reader head and in the middle the laser led. use a cottton-bud and a bit of camera lens cleaning fluid to clean it.
- try to play couple of cd's. if everything is ok youre done.
- put back the cover than using the tool push back the player
After doing this my 6006E player is working wonderfuly.
Regards
Zsolt
