Mend Belling Wont Stay Lit

Belling gas cooker: grill won't stay lit?

Hi, my Belling gas cooker has a faulty grill. Although the gas supply is fine and so is the ignition, it switches off as soon as I let go of the grill's control knob. The oven works, just not the grill. Is this something I can fix at home?

No grilled sausages for breakfast!
