MIcro SD card doesn't work properly?

What could be the problem with my micro SD card? it is 2gb, but it can only accomodate up to 300mb of files. I bought another one micro SD but the same problem occurs. I cannot create folders as well..Can someone help me with this?

did you buy from a reputable source or online if online i think youve got a hacked card reads 2gb but actually smaller sounds like yours are 256mb common problems try putting say 1.5 gb on card and it will tell you it is going to take hours then when complete all files are corrupt google hacked card tester and there is a programme to test
