Mend Bosch Gas Hob Burners Ignition

bosch gas hob 2002 vintage 4 burners?

Electric ignition, following cleaning, is going continually and we cannot stop it. It is clicking all the time and we have had to turn the power off. We have tried cleaning and drying out with hair dryer.
