how can I fix central locking system on ford mondeo?

my centrall locking wont work i have a mondeo v reg i keep getting a ticking nose in the car can some 1 help?

try using some wd40 injected into the barrel lock in the winter all the years muck and grime solidify in the barrel mechanism and some type of easing oil (wd40 or duck oil) tend to release the build up of debris in the lock mechanism thus allowing the contacts in the lock to make contact and releasing the switch that locks and unlocks your doors
