whirlpool awz 410 program select problem?

Hi guys, Anyone know how to fix a problem with my whirlpool awz410 1000 washer drier, it will only work when I select the cold wash program. I would be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks

On another note if anyone is having problems with musty smells coming from clothes coming from the washing machine they can fix this by washing a hot wash with nothing in the wash except some bleach. This is supposed to get rid of the smell ;-)
