Mend Kenmore 60 series Washer Drain Pump

washer will not expell water?

kenmore 60 series washer( for neighbor widow lady) goes thru wash cycles but does not drain. Is it possibly a garment stuck into pump area?

select a drain program and switch on.listen with your ear on the cabinet and see if you can hear a buzzing noise from the drain pump.if you hear a buzzing sound it could be something jammed in the drain pump or hoses or even a faulty drain pump
