my ped belt keeps on snapping ?

check the faces of the variator halves are not worn badly as if the nickel plating is missing the aluminium will wear fast and alter the distance it should travel together which will in turn put too much pressure on the belt and break it,also you could try fitting a kevlar drive belt amlossi do some good ones try ve-uk they have a site.
