Vw caddy speakers?

The speakers in my Vw caddy van are distorted. The two large ones in either door and the two tweeters in the dash. Been like it for awhile, was good, and can't remove door speakers to check! Any possible reasons and removal of door speakers? Vw caddy, 2.0 sdi 55 plate
