Mend Hotpoint WMA40 Washing Machine Fix

How can I fix my Hotpoint WMA40 washing machine?

My washing machine has packed up after 3 years...something has stopped it spinning. It fills with water and will drain away but nothing happens in the middle bit. Any ideas? New machine or is it a simple problem to fix?

does the drum turn? if it doesnt check the belt if thats ok then its the motor. It probably just needs the brushes replacing in the motor.
either way both are simple to fix and not costly. I would pay an engineer at most £50 to fix it. Do it yourself i would pay at most £20 for parts. depends where you go.
