does the drum turn? if it doesnt check the belt if thats ok then its the motor. It probably just needs the brushes replacing in the motor.
either way both are simple to fix and not costly. I would pay an engineer at most ÂŁ50 to fix it. Do it yourself i would pay at most ÂŁ20 for parts. depends where you go.
