i have a renault midlum 2002 and the oil pressure keeps dropping down to min and then the alarm goes off, it also uses water but i cant find any leaks and theres no water in the oil i have been to renault but they cant fix or dont want to can any one help me with any ideas how to fix many thanks william
you first need to fit a gauge to the engine and see what the actal pressure is through the rev range ..renault should be able to give you the figures.....though i am not familiar with renaults ,change oil filter ,using a genuine oe part ..check pressure relief valve , and if possible ,remove oil pump and see if you can find anyone who can test it
