Mend SsangYong Rexton Idle Driving Engine

My 05 Sangyong Rexton 2.7xdi goes into idle mode?

When driving the engine totaly looses power and if i keep the accelorator down to the floor my engine stays in idle mode coming to a halt . However if i pump the accelorator pedel it pick up againuntil the fault acts up again
