control model ep3002 when running central heating setting manually both sliders have to be in on position why can't i run central heating slider independently could it be the hot water thermostat and room stat.are wired wrong causing the water stat to override the room stat or...........

your wiring is done on 10 program either your system is gravity hotwater ot wiring in correct or clock set to hotwater piority, it can be changed with setting behind clock

Depends on the system, regardless of timeswitch and boiler.
If the system is gravity, the water needs to be on to fire the boiler while the ch runs the pump, possibly through a roomstat.
