Mend Sony Alpha 330 Camera Lens

How can i fix the autofocus on my sony lens?

I have a sony alpha 330 dslr with a 18-55mm standard lens with built in autofocus on the lens.

For some reason the camera will not focus or take a picture, but if i swap to a lens without built in autofocus i can take a picture?

Anyone know how to fix it?
