Mend Hotpoint CTD00 Stopped Turning Door

My hotpoint ctd00 tumble dryer has stopped turning and there is a smell of burning .u opened the door when on and seen the heating elements glowing red hot .which I knew were wrong as in the 4years I,ve had I,d never seen before .pulled the machine away from wall and the back of it was boiling , any suggestions wot is wrong with it
