Mend Valiant combi boiler Combi Ignition Heating

how can i fix my valiant combi boiler?

my boiler will not ignite the gas. The pilot light looks like it is earthing out onto the burners. I think it should spark between the two copper ..... Rods ??.. It seems a quick and simple process to change the copper ignition rods.. but is it them

yep it sounds like you need a new ignition electrode (Rod!) this should spark between the end of this and usually the pilot assembly.
