My beko AA class?

My washin machine seems to be stuck on a cycle i have tried to hold in the start button to cacle the cycle out but once i have done this and try to put it on a new cycle it will return to the old cycle does anybody no how i can solve this problem?

Make sure you are prepared for the flood of dirty washing water with towels and a bucket! But this trick has just worked for me

Remove the filter at the bottom right corner.shine a torch in to the filter housing and check that the drain pump impellor rotates freely
Now hold start button pressed for 5 seconds and allow to reset.Select new program and retry
