I have a new door seal for my Hoover WDM130 washing machine and am having trouble fitting the seal to the outer drum. I have tried some washing up liquid but no sooner than I get the seal on all the way around, it pops off again. Is there a knack to this job or any tools that can help?

Do not put too much washing up liquid on the seal
Turn the seal inside out and fit to the tub front then fit the clamp ring.
Then fit to the shell case
You need fingers like steel rods
