my peugeot speedfight 100 is not getting fuel ?

my son has just bought a peugeot speedfight 100 it is a m reg what type of fuel do you put in it

There as 2 reasons for lack of fuel on a 2stroke either a faulty fuel tap / split in vaccum pipe or low compression, try this the fuel tap is under the lh side seat panel it has two Iowa on it top one is for fuel to the carb bottom is crankcase vaccim pressure to open the fuel tap, remove top pipe and try to start your engine if you have fuel coming out your tap is not faulty the only problem with this is you should really check compression first because although it may be supplying some pressure to let a little fuel through it still may not be enough you need to have compression of at least 90 psi or more hope this helps
