what does the error code HE2mean on a samsung smart wash b1245s?

i have a samsung smart wash b1245s washing machine and have had it about 3 years just reacently had the error code HE2 come up and the wash program stops manual does not list this looked on samsung site they dont either spoke to engineer he cant find out what it means or how to fix it we have checked the heater with volt meter it seems to be ok now im at a loss this makes the machine usless now looks like its going to be a new one although i wish it could be repaired must be cheeper i think please help if can
