sorry matt it cant be done,they are not resticted like a scooter is ,the only thing you can do is fit a different sprocket to it and see if it helps sometimes the bike woill not have enough power to pull but its worth a go.try to get a front sprocket that is one tooth bigger or trya rear sprocket 3 teeth smaller the acceleration will go down a bit but the top end should improve ok.
