i have fizzing on my stereo?

i have a panasonic cq-c5303n, i removed it from my car due to a dvd upgrade then placed it in my wifes vw golf, as i tried to fit it and push bac to the proper placing (front flush) i think i may have caught a rf cable in a hole the resides in the hole for the stereo, when fitted it fuzzes after a few mins, but on removal of the pop off front and refitting it acts normal again until a few mins later??
