did you try the little fuel pump relay first it is located next to the battery on the left hand side under the coloured triangle seat, the battery acid can corrode these if the breather pipe is on the same side, there are 2 relays next to each other and they are the same swap them around and try it, the only other components that ever go wrong are the fuel injsectors which are common as shi* very very plausible, and i have done one or 2 pumps before now,l these are all one unit with the sender and sit in the tank, you will know if this is working though if you take off the high pressure fuel pipe at the injector, and switch the ignition on you should hear the pump whine and see a jet of fuel come out of the braided black pipe, if you dont hear the whine check for a power feed, if not present go back to my first point with the relay, fuel flow can be measured but you have to use a diagnostic handheld to actuate it. your question regarding the link between immobilizer and injector is simple, all the immobilizer does is allow the ignition process to continue, only the ecu controls the injector, the ecu is obviously programmed to the cdi but does not affect how the injector operates. i will check back on here as soon as i get a chance to see your response apologies as i havent been on for a long time due to circumstances
