Zanussi zwf1621w stops mid cycle?

followed above procedure on my zanussi 1621 start and end flash green together twice and end flashes further 3x. any ideas?

The start/pause button and the end button flash together twice then the end flashes 3 times.

could be a heater fault but could be anything as the machine is told to stop working if it finds a fault.press the 1st and 2nd button in from the right together at the same time and then turn the program selector 1 position clockwise whilst still holding both buttons pressed in.when the leds start to chase let go of all the buttons.now rotate the program selector 9 more positions.make a note of the flashes.some may be green flashes and some may be red.count the flashes together and then count the second batch of flashes together.post the amount of flashes and I will try help you diagnose problem
