Mend Zanussi DW908 Water Problem

zanussi dw908 holding water?

hi we have a zanussi dw908 dishwasher, and the problem is that the salt resevoir is holding water and now its starting to smell, i would be gratefull of any help anyone can give

Zanussi Zanussi DW908 Kitchen Appliances, Dishwashers Zanussi Water Problem

if you don't fill the salt container it will flood with water.this is how it works.smells etc are due to grease build up inside the dishwasher pipes etc.use a dishwasher cleaner or remove all the pipes and wash them out one by one.Its an age issue and a build up of grease causing these smells
