Mend Honeywell HTG Clock Central Set Work

hioneywell central htg clock old?

had to turn light off, central htg clock off, when back on could not set clock. It will work only on continuous not on twice setting. what an i doing wrong please. had this problem before but can't remember how yto fix it. many thanks Gill lawledge
