How to change the belt?

I lost the manual on my canister vacuum and don't know how to change the belt on the following Kenmore model 116. 53813300, Serial #D34820097
Class P-F7
Belt #20-5218.
Please send instructions

From another post:

1. Remove the light bulb cover (just pulls off from pressing the sides in)
2. Remove the 2 long phillips screws in the center
3. Grab edge of the cosmetic cover from underneath and pull outward and upward to lift off of the black base. Now you can work on the brush roller and belt. If you have never changed the belt, the cover may be stubborn.
