Mend Daewoo KOR-63F7 Years Working Coming

Is there a remedy?

Microwave is 3 years old and in perfect working order but the plasticated coating is coming off in flakes on the floor of the oven and now it has started making a spitting noise whilst being used. Is it dangerous to use it and is there anything I can do to repair it myself ? It is a Daewoo KOR-63F7 700 watt manual model.
