my car wont start?

my dad changed the front drivers light and now the car wont start there is nothing damaged on that side and i keep getting messages on the dash display abs fault battry low fault and a few other things there is no brake lights it is a 2001 citroen xsara 1.6 petrol please help

Was it a complete light, or just a bulb he changed?

Did he disconnect the battery, or unplug/push aside any other components/wiring during fitting?

Check the battery voltage.
Check all battery and earth cables/connections.


If that's all ok try removing whatever he fitted, see if that helps.
