Mend British Gas DSC Code Alarm Manual

Disable Code British Gas DSC?

I have bought a house with a British Gas DSC alarm and dont have a manual. Everytime I open a door the alarm chimes which is annoying to say the least! How can I disable this function?

puch button on lcd keypad that says "chimes" - keep it presses for 2 seconds and it will bleep. this should then make it disabled. to enable again, repeat aboce step and it willl be enabled
