Mend Craftsman 140250013 Stopped Working Day

how can i fix my craftsman 15.6v battery charger?

i have a craftsman drill and battery charger it just stopped working one day the mdel number is 140250013. input AC120v60Hz 9w output DC 18.8v
200mA .. the light on the battery charger will not even come on to indicate charging .. Why did it stop working and could someone tell me how to fix it?

Craftsman Craftsman 140250013 Power Tools, Drills Stopped Working Day

There is a thermal fuse inside the power adapter that has failed. the best way is to look for another power adapter, it has to be dc output of around 19volts dc at 250ma. you can splice it into the cable but have to watch polarity or just purchase another battery pack adapter for $25
