hotpoint WT960 lcd display flashes, cancel/pause button stopped working?

WT960 lcd display flashes on and off, has done so immediately after warranty expire.annoying but still was a working washing machine. now the pause/cancel button appears to have stopped working. is this fixable or do i need a new circuit board ? if so, at what cost effectiveness ?
