timing marks for ford mondeo td 1998 endura-de engine?

There are no timing marks. You need to buy a setting kit (£30 from any good factors).
then....
Take the cam cover off.
Turn the engine by hand until the slot on the tail end of the cam lines up flush with the gasket surface on the cam housing head.
Turn the engine back a quarter of a turn.
Remove the plug from the front of the crankcase, and screw the timing pin in its place. Do this fingertight till it stops.
Turn the engine slowly until the crank stops against the pin.
Fit the setting bar (included in the kit) into the slot in the end of the cam which should be a nice tight fit against the gasket surface of the head.
Push the fuel pump timing pin into the hole in the pump sprocket, making sure it goes all the way through to the back.

Engine timed correctly.
