Mend Hotpoint HM3121 Fridge Freezer Auto Defrost

The fridge part of my fridge freezer is not cold enough?

The fridge part of my hotpoint HM3121 fridge freezer is not cold enough. The back panel had an ice build up which is unusual so I turned off the fridge and then on again using the stat control. This cleared the problem with the auto defrost kicking in. Now the fridge compartment is not cold enough. I've turn the stat up to 5 but I'm not geeting any cooler temp.
