Why wont my tomtom switch on?

try this while the tomtom is connected to the computer
If the device has a pinhole reset near the USB connection on the bottom or back of the tomtom.
- press the reset button for 20 sec with a paperclip
Then..hold the power button for five sec or until you hear bongo drum sound and release. this should help..unless there is something wrong with the hardware the device will still work if the battery is no longer holding a charge. As long as you are connected to a power source.
