my worster 24i keeps blowing a fuse when i turn heating on why is this

If it's the old 24i, it's the one that doesn't require pump operation in hot water only demand, it only operates the pump during C/H demand?

If the above is correct, your pump is stuck, may need freeing (via the centre screw) or replacing.
