Mend Kew Hobby 1500 Water Pump Pressure Motor

Kew Hobby 1500 extra slow trickle of water with no pressure?

When you press the trigger on the hose the motor/pump kicks in then when you release the trigger it continues to run, it doesn't cut out, and all the time it is just letting out a slow trickle of water. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
