How to locate a problem on Servis M3011a?

Hi all please could any one tell me how to track down a problem with my Servis M3011a . It has stopped taking in water . I have swopped over the Hot /cold valves to no avail. next the pressure valve ? any bits a simple know how to get this machine going again simple tests , Thanks J.James
