Mend Snapper Repair Power Shuts

How can I repair my snapper rider?

Hi, just power washer my snapper rider. Now when I take it out neutral or engage the blade the engines shuts off. Any ideas whats causing the problem?

Hi Rick,
Thanks for responding. I can't locate a switch under the seat.
Only switch I can find is the one under the shift lever in the neutral position (I believe this is the blade safety switch). When I shift out of neutral and hold this switch in, it runs in gear but the blade will not turn. Is this the switch you mentioned?
