Bosch dishwasher problem?

have a Bosch classixx free standing slim dishwasher. it would not empty so i took the left side panel off and noticed an orange blockage *putty like* in the drain pipe near the back of the machine. Took off the pipe assembly and cleared this blockage. pressed reset with the 2 front panel buttons and the drain pump operated and the water drained away and the end light illuminated. turned the on>off switch, the machine filled with water then nothing but a quiet humming sound. manually rotated the main pump at the right hand of the machine and it seems free but the cycle stops at this point no matter wich wash programme I select ??
